Terms of Service

These terms cover using this website and the free tools on it. They are not the agreement covering work we do for you — that is a separate document, signed separately, and nothing here limits what it says.
What these terms cover, and what they do not
They cover this website: reading it, and using the free tools on it. They are not a service agreement. If we do work for you — a network, a migration, a support arrangement — the scope, the price, the response times and the liabilities are set out in a written agreement between us, and that agreement governs the work. Nothing on this page reduces what we have promised you there. The distinction matters. A website disclaimer saying "no warranty" sitting next to a support agreement promising a response time would be a contradiction, so the two are kept apart deliberately.
The tools are provided as they are
The network tools are free, need no account, and are offered without warranty of any kind. They query public resolvers and public hosts and report what those systems return. That answer can be wrong, stale, or incomplete for reasons entirely outside our control — a resolver caching an old record, a host behaving differently for us than for you, a network path that fails between us and it. Use them as a first check, not as evidence. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for a decision with consequences, and verify anything that matters against the system itself. We are not liable for a decision taken on the strength of a tool result. We may change, limit or withdraw any tool at any time. Requests are rate limited so that the tools stay available to everyone.
Acceptable use
Use the tools on systems you own or are authorised to test. Do not use them to probe, scan, enumerate or map infrastructure belonging to anyone else. This is not a formality. A scan you run from here leaves our address in someone else's logs, and it is our abuse complaint to answer. The port scanner is switched off for exactly this reason and will only be enabled once it can verify that the target is your own address — it will refuse third-party hosts by design. Also not permitted: automating the tools at volume or through scripts, circumventing the rate limits, attempting to gain access to any part of this site you were not given, interfering with its operation, and using anything here to break the law of any country that applies to you. We may block access if any of this happens, without notice.
What belongs to whom
The text, the drawings, the photography, the code and the design of this site belong to DawoudTech. The name, the logo, the wordmark and the "Stay Connected" lettering are our trademarks. You may read, print and share pages, and link to anything here. You may not copy the site or parts of it into another project, use it as a template, or reuse the drawings or the code elsewhere, whether or not money changes hands. The results a tool produces are facts about public systems. Do what you like with them. Work shown on this site was carried out for our clients and is published with their permission. It remains theirs; their names and their systems are not ours to license to you.
Links to other sites
Where we link to something outside this site — a client's system, a vendor, a reference — we are pointing at it, not vouching for it. We have no control over what those sites do, what they collect, or whether they still work. Once you follow a link away from here, this page and our privacy policy no longer apply to you.
Availability
We try to keep the site up, and we do not promise that it always will be. It may be unavailable for maintenance, for a fault, or for reasons outside our control. The site being down is not a breach of these terms, and it has no bearing on any support agreement you hold with us — that agreement has its own response times, and they stand.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Syrian Arab Republic, and any dispute about them belongs to the courts there. If a court decides that any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest of them continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We revise this page when the site changes — a new tool, a tool withdrawn, a change to what is allowed. The date at the top is the date of the last revision. Using the site after a change means the current version applies to you.
